Living in a state like Maryland, one cannot help but know about boats. Growing up in the vicinity of Deep Creek Lake, boating just became second nature. Even at a young age, we know how to find our way around boats. And we were taught what will work and what will not. But when I left home for the big cities, I carried with me an extensive knowledge about boats which helps me a lot when I joined my present job with the Coast Guard. And the lessons I learned from my father about how to take care of boats really came in handy now that I have my own small boat. I do my own repairs but calling up home for ideas and inputs. But what really peeved me is the fact that several times I have to paint and clean the bottom part of my boat and I don’t know why there seems to have no solution to this problem. And it was my father who asked me what paint I am using for these part and I told him it is the best and I even paid the highest price. But when he asked me the name of the make, he was just as amused as I was peeved. I am using his old brand and he thought I knew something works better and this is what he is using now, an Antifouling Boat Paint by the best manufacturer he found out.
So I went online looking up for the name of the paint my father is using. And when I found it, immediately I made an order for my boat. And truly, the paint speaks volume. It delivered what it promised. And from then on, I never have any issues regarding fouling again.
