I would say that it is either in the morning and the morning is good if the stores are still relatively empty or at night, just before closing time when they are empty again. However, I must admit that I was never considered funny when I was in a department or tights at the box office which I paid.
Quite the contrary, I have heard on several occasions that women find it even good if men are interested in such things. This refers to probable, however, the interest in the woman who attracts then the tights, and not as the man carrier. Therefore, I suspect, think many women who see in such a hosiery that you buy a pair of tights for his wife or girlfriend. And that is seen by women like.
In the early days, when I entered a bodystocking department, my heart was beating harder and it seemed that I would start red. I wanted as quickly as possible get out of the department. So I bought myself often “trash”, the tights were sometimes too small, or quality, I had not taken in haste.
